As a youth residential facility we were not permitted to accept new youth sporadically through the pandemic due to multiple COVID 19 outbreaks. Additionally, we dealt with major staffing shortages due to staff getting ill and staff having to stay home with their own children due to schools/daycares closing.

Many trainings for staff were postponed or canceled due to the pandemic.

The families wanted more information about their youth and their progress. Through increased communication with Children's division and the families we are able to provide regular updates and information (if allowed by courts).

Rocky Creek Youth Ranch helps youth ages 6-18 by advocating, empowering, and preparing youth who are at risk and are struggling with behavioral, emotional, or co-occurring diagnoses regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, creed, etc.). We provide a safe, structured, trauma-informed/ person-centered therapeutic and educational environment during their rehabilitation process, to provide a roadmap for success in their lives.
