Mission

The mission of Neighborhood STRONG is to enhance the quality of life of residents in the City of Lufkin, Angelina County and eight (8) adjacent counties. Our current geographic area includes economically disadvantaged parts of Angelina, Cherokee, Nacogdoches, Houston, Jasper, Polk, Trinity, San Augustine and Tyler Counties. As a charitable non-profit corporation, we partner with and receive funding from local foundations, charities, corporations and state and federal funding agencies to assist homeowners in the repair, modification or reconstruction of their properties.
