    Adaptability Practices
    30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year
A Brighter Day Youth Work Program had to pivot during the last year due to Covid-19. We did virtual customer service training instead of in person training. We also provided Zoom training and Zoom etiquette to all of our staff as well as our current Board. We also changed our Board meetings from in-person meetings to virtual meetings. We were not able to do any of our outings with the youth we serve. We usually take them on a snow trip, go to the movies, amusement parks and our annual Saturday breakfast at IHOP. We still wanted to do something for the youth we serve so we provided various gift cards to them as well as their families.
