The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: CIC will maintain and expand our most successful and popular programs including the Youth Leadership Council (YLC) and other leadership development programs, interactive engagement stations (tabling) on mental health and risk education, mission-related community service projects, parent and educator presentations on trends and risks, and Mental Health First Aid training.
Goal Two: Implement a strategy to establish Recovery-Friendly Communities and Workplaces by expanding initiatives to workplaces, municipalities, faith leaders, and first responders. Focus on establishing recovery-friendly practices across multiple community sectors which will serve to reduce stigma and increase access to recovery support services.
Goal Three: Diversify funding researching other potential sources of revenue and ensure financial and organizational stability, i.e., 'donor dinners,' foundations, corporations and private individual giving; establish an endowment for stability; create a leadership succession plan; establish an endowment; establish a planned giving (estate and gifts) program, a stock gift transferal process, corporate match.
