Vision

Hope aims to provide family-focused grief programming to give families new, positive memories and experiences in the wake of the loss of their loved one and give them the tools they need as a family unit to navigate their grief journey together in a healthy way. We created a community of peer to peer support to improve the lives of greiving families.

Goals

1. 1.The goal of Hope for Grieving Families is to support grieving families with children who have lost a loved one. Grief can be a very lonely, difficult journey. We aim to provide a community for families where they can not only have a day of fun together to create new happy memories, but also have the peer to peer support of other families on thier own grief journey.
2. 2.Our second goal is to be ableto change and adapt as our population/community changes. We have children who are growing older and therefore have different interests as well as new families joinung all the time. As we are now in our 10th year, we have some families who are growing up with us. We want to look at how we can adapt and change to grow with our population.
3. 3.Our goal has always been to be able to expand our programming. Sadly, loss is a part of all of our lives and we want to ensure that we can continue to support greiving families in need. We would increase the number of events we have each year so that we are offering programs for more age groups. In addition, we would like ot offer more outreach for families in the early stages of loss.
