Vision

Our vision at Ground Up Ministries is a world where we can say "yes" to every child who needs us. In the face of a heartbreaking reality—where there are only a handful of beds for trafficked children in all of Florida—we are forced to turn away young lives who desperately need sanctuary. This painful "no" fuels our relentless drive to expand. We are dedicated to building more safe havens, because our vision isn't just to help a few; it's to have the capacity to open our doors and our hearts to every single referral we receive.

Goals

1. 1.Pathway to Learning - Survivors of human trafficking in our care often exhibit profound emotional and cognitive delays, mirroring the age at which their trauma began. Our program offers individualized academic and spiritual support, going beyond traditional online learning.
2. 2.Capital Campaign- To expand its capacity to house and heal rescued girls. To increase residential capacity, expand comprehensive care—including trauma therapy and life skills training—and ensure long-term sustainability through an endowment. Providing our incredible young survivors with a chance at a new life.
3. 3.Pathway to advocating- for our residents, both past and present. We are committed to mentoring these amazing young women, helping them heal from their pasts so they can build futures as strong as they are. Our work is to shine a light on the darkness of exploitation and guide them toward a life of purpose, helping them become the successful young adults they were always meant to be.
