The Yellow Tulip Project

Mission

The core missions of The Yellow Tulip Project is to smash stigma associated with mental illness and to build community to remind people that there is help and hope for those living with mental illness.

Vision

We want to help others realize that even in the darkest places, hope is always there and suicide should never be an option. We are fiercely dedicated to helping people know that there are ways to get help, that people are there for them and that circumstances can and will change for the better.

Goals

1.Expand arts-based programming + exhibits to new communities across the US and beyond.
2.Introduce EXPRESS – a mental health arts program for Black and Brown youth – to be piloted in Portland, ME in early 2024.
3.Engage 100+ new Youth Ambassadors & 25+ new communities/school.
