Vision

The Elizabeth River Trail Foundation will build a trail as diverse and vibrant as the land it sits on, the river it follows, and the community it serves.

Goals

1. 1.Prioritize sustainable funding sources such as state and federal grants and the associated advocacy work as well as growing our corporate partner and individual donor program.
2. 2.Invest in oversight such as a financial audit and economic impact study. Utilize software programs such as Monday for project management. Hire a new bookkeeper and re-activate our Finance Committee.
3. 3.Find relationship opportunities with the City, localities, partner neighborhoods on the existing trail and in proposed extensions and continue building trust with faith community and non-profits.
