    Higher Ground enhances quality of life through therapeutic recreation and education. With a vision to become the nation's leader in creating accessible recreation opportunities, we serve people with disabilities, as well as veterans and first responders. For over 25 years, Higher Ground has been transforming lives through therapeutic recreation and education. With recreation, therapy, and continued support, we bridge the gap between disability and belonging. With headquarters in Sun Valley, Idaho, and programs taking place nationally, we help transform lives across the country. Our programs strategically combine outdoor recreation activities with therapeutic processes to help all participants confront current struggles, build resilience, and develop skills to find success in daily life. Higher Ground's mission and programs are rooted in supporting and serving participants from all walks of life, nationwide, regardless of their background or circumstances.
