Vision

We envision a Church with no empty pulpits: where every congregation, in the community where it already stands, is served by a pastor formed in that same community, and where the cost of answering a call to ministry never determines who gets to answer it. We look toward a growing, global network of confessionally grounded, contextually trained leaders, equipped through accessible and accredited theological education, who go on to serve their congregations with excellence, humility, and hope, across the United States and around the world. As ELGS matures into a self-sustaining institution capable of carrying this work forward for generations, we envision a seminary that remains as affordable, as relational, and as rooted in vocation and stewardship as the day it began, so that the pulpits it helps fill are only the beginning of the leadership it forms.

Goals

1. 1.We will grow access by expanding our three-continent footprint, recruiting more Faculty, Pastoral, and Personal Mentors as enrollment grows, and widening our "Come and See" on-ramps so prospective students can try a single course or certificate before full enrollment, all while holding tuition low enough that no student incurs debt for study or living costs.
2. 2.As ELGS takes full responsibility for its own fundraising and marketing, we are investing in a diversified fundraising base and clear financial reporting tied to measurable goals. We are also building the administrative, communications, and technical infrastructure, staffing, systems, and brand standards needed to sustain and scale this work independently for the long term.
