Mission

Founded by Noel Paul Stookey (of the 60’s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary) Music to Life empowers a diverse network of talented artists across the country as social entrepreneurs, going beyond a benefit concert to create measurable impact in their communities. We provide business skills training, mentorship from fundraising experts, and paid performance opportunities for innovative artists of all genres who are creating music-driven community programs that directly address issues from environmental and racial justice, to youth empowerment and the opioid crisis. By teaching artists how to make a living while making change, we are ensuring the sustainability of music as a tool for change and creating a nationwide movement of grassroots musicians who are equipped to tackle the issues of our time as creative and representative leaders.
