PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE - THE PAROLE PREPARATIONPROJECT COLLABORATES WITH AND ADVOCATES FOR PAROLE-ELIGIBLE PEOPLESERVING LIFE SENTENCES IN NEW YORK STATE PRISONS. WE TRAIN VOLUNTEERSTO WORK ALONGSIDE PAROLE APPLICANTS, MANY OF WHOM HAVE SPENT DECADES INPRISON AND HAVE BEEN REPEATEDLY DENIED PAROLE, DESPITE THEIRELIGIBILITY FOR RELEASE.
