In the heart of New York City, 1014 brings people together from both sides of the Atlantic to creatively engage with today’s global topics.

Communities around the world are undergoing deep transformations. Priorities, norms, and values are

1.To establish a contemporary program for public events and an international fellowship program, bringing together experts from both sides of the Atlantic to collaborate and present their work.
2.To refurbish 1014 Fifth Avenue, using strategies of adaptive reuse to balance historical preservation with contemporary needs.
3.To continue to build a diverse community of partners, audience members, experts, and artists to address global challenges and opportunities.
