Hope in the Hills envisions an Appalachia where recovery is celebrated, recovery care is accessible, and communities thrive through connection, creativity, and compassion.

Goals

1. 1.Increase access to recovery-supportive resources by funding housing, treatment continuation, and wraparound supports that remove barriers to long-term recovery for individuals and families across Appalachia.
2. 2.Continue the launch and sustain Hope in the Hills’ Recovery Housing Scholarship Program to remove financial barriers to safe, stable housing for individuals in recovery across Appalachia, ensuring continuity of care and increasing long-term recovery outcomes.
3. 3.Develop and scale workforce development initiatives that equip people in recovery with industry-recognized skills, certifications, and career pathways—particularly in creative and live-event industries. Why this matters: Recovery is strengthened by purpose and opportunity. Employment and skills development build long-term independence and community reintegration.
