Vision

The Ansley vision is to create a model for equitable education that provides the same (or better) education, expectations, and promises of hope to students who have experienced homelessness that is afforded to students at other top private schools in Atlanta.

Goals

1. 1.Develop a strong asset- and research-based educational program at The Ansley School. Initiative 1: Develop an individualized portfolio for every student Initiative 2: Create and institute Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) in classrooms school-wide Initiative 3: Develop a literacy program guided by the Science of Reading Initiative 4: Institute an interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum
2. 2.Build a social-emotional learning (SEL) framework that meets the needs of students and their families. Initiative 1: Identify and implement a SEL program that is culturally and developmentally appropriate for children and their families Initiative 2: Develop and institute a consistent wellness check-in for individual families Initiative 3: Develop a framework for providing resources to families
3. 3.Recruit, Train and Retain highly-qualified teachers. Initiatives 1: Develop a model for identification and recruitment of certified, highly-qualified teachers 2: Construct compensation and benefits to retain excellent faculty and staff 3: Establish opportunities for ongoing pedagogical and professional development of teachers and staff 4: Establish a Teacher Residency Model
