Foundation for Climate Restoration Inc.

Mission

F4CR is working to make climate restoration the overarching goal of climate action by the end of this decade. Climate restoration goes beyond just reducing emissions; it means reclaiming a historically safe climate for current and future generations, and for the natural world we’re part of. We aim to restore the pre-industrial climate by 2050, while Earth’s systems are still resilient enough for restoration to be possible. Achieving a safe climate requires a paradigm shift: most people don’t yet realize it’s possible, so they’re not calling for it. That’s why F4CR’s mission is to build understanding, social acceptance, and the will to restore the climate.
