The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year
Lift Up luanched with a focus on international projects that were able to provide a significant impact with donations as small as $5. Once COVID hit domestically we pivoted to turn our attention to 100% local projects impacted people in need within our own country. We had Hunger Relief Projects from New York City to Oakland California. We also created Lift Up face shields and supported first responders. We also were working to provide essential education equipment to underprivileged kids struggling to access distance learning. This lead us to make a permanent change of focusing our attention on both local and global projects that are urgent in nature. This was a great shift as we saw a whole new market of donors excited to support local projects for our neighbors and friends who needed to be Lifted Up in the last calendar year.
