Vision

Empower Through Health envisions a world where all people—regardless of geography or income—have access to dignified, community-driven healthcare and education. We aim to serve as a global model for effective, scalable interventions that transform marginalized communities by reducing health inequities, combating stigma, and empowering individuals with the tools to shape their own futures.

Goals

1. 1.Improve service delivery by upgrading Mpunde Health Center with new maternity, laboratory, and diagnostic spaces; decentralize mental health care through district-wide training; and construct an ETH Primary School to provide quality education to underserved children in Buyende.
2. 2.Leverage ETH’s research infrastructure and local partnerships to design and scale culturally relevant interventions in mental health, stigma reduction, and non-communicable disease care. Expand the Global Health Experiential Fellowship to build future global health leaders and strengthen cross-cultural collaboration.
3. 3.Diversify ETH’s funding through grants, philanthropy, and social entrepreneurship; invest in staff capacity-building through leadership training and sponsorship of higher education (e.g., master’s degrees); and share ETH’s model to influence best practices in global health delivery for underserved communities.
