IS A 501(C)3 NON-PARTISAN PUBLIC POLICY RESEARCH ORGANIZATION AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT COMMUNITY OF LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL POLICYMAKERS WORKING TO ADVANCE FREEDOM, EQUALITY, AND A MORE PERFECT UNION WHERE THE AMERICAN DREAM IS FOR EVERYONE. OUR NAMESAKE REP. JOSEPH RAINEY WAS BORN ENSLAVED AND BECAME THE FIRST AFRICAN AMERICAN TO SERVE IN THE UNITED STATES HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
