A future where every community, state, and nation is empowered with civic justice—where equity, representation, and civic participation are accessible to all, ensuring that historically marginalized voices are heard, valued, and instrumental in shaping policies that foster inclusive and just societies.

Goals

1. 1.As president of Muslim Civic Coalition, I am committed to advancing policies that build equity and civic power for vulnerable communities. Our advocacy follows four phases: listening to community needs, drafting policies and identifying legislative champions, organizing to pass laws, and educating stakeholders. This structured approach ensures systemic change driven by those directly impacted.
2. 2.We are scaling programs to empower underrepresented communities in civic engagement. Through media training, we equip young American Muslim leaders to engage safely with the media. We've increase voter participation via mosque tabling, hands-on registration, and data tracking. In 2024, we have now expanded our advocacy goals by advancing to federal resolutions from our typical state legislation.
3. 3.In 2024, we aimed and succeeded in passing major federal resolutions addressing hate and fostering inclusivity, strengthening policies that serve our community and the broader American public. These efforts were made possible through years of coalition-building with legislators, partners, and allies. Our work ensures that laws are shaped for us and with us, driving lasting systemic change.
