    FixNation

    Mission

FixNation became the first full-time spay/neuter facility in Los Angeles in 2007, providing comprehensive Trap-Neuter-Return support (including free spay/neuter services for homeless cats, TNR outreach and education) as well as affordable care for companion cats and partnerships to facilitate adoptions. FixNation's pioneering programs have sterilized nearly 300,000 cats and its protocols are now considered the gold standard for cat population management across the country. In 2025, FixNation closed its flagship clinic near Burbank Airport; its primary mission now is to help humanely reduce the population of homeless cats in Los Angeles by providing mentoring, oversight and funding to like-minded nonprofits so that free spay/neuter services, loaner traps and free TNR training remain readily available throughout Greater Los Angeles.
