Goals

1. 1.Priority Area 1: Outreach and Education Overarching Goal: Widely distributing out accurate information and managing expectations about opportunities. This is one of 4 priorities identified in a 2014 regional strategic plan focused on serving and empowering immigrant families in the Centra Valley, a region where there has been widespread misinformation regarding immigration policies.
2. 2.Priority Area 2: Immediate Service Needs Overarching Goal: Coordinating and expanding available resources, eligibility, application assistance, and advising/referring. This is another of the 2014 strategic priorities that focused on ensuring that immigration-related services are made available to immigrant families in rural and urban communities.
3. 3.Priority Area 3: Regional Capacity Building Overarching Goal: Developing and expanding the skills and capacities needed for meeting the requirements and optimizing benefits (including accreditation, training, expanding the numbers of who can provide quality services). This is a 3rd strategic priority from 2014 focused on enhancing regional immigration organizational capacity.
