    Adaptability Practices
    30 out of 30 points
The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year
Bloc Life adapted to the increased demand of our programs over the last year by planning, researching and developing relationships with 6 other likeminded facilities. This expanded reach will allow Bloc Life to serve it's target demographic outside of our immediate reach. With the increased demand of our programs Bloc Life has trained, hired and developed additional staff to help serve our target demographic. The additional staff has allowed the workload of the programs to be shared across the organization to prevent inconsistencies that arise from growth. Lastly, Bloc Life has downsized its officiating board to streamline decision making and increase our ability to have an impact in unique situations. This efficient and effective governing body has allowed Bloc Life to take advantage of opportunities as they arise without the red tape of larger organizations.
