Vision

OUR VISION: A world free from exploitation and slavery. We believe that exploitation and slavery contribute significantly to the despair and hopelessness we see in the world. When exploitation and slavery come from within one’s own family, circle of ‘friends’, and acquaintances, escape is limited or non-existent creating identity crisis’, mental instability, deep PTSD, and eating and sleeping disorders of those exploited. These further cascade into disruptions to children’s education, delayed brain development, and the insecurity of a pure lack of trust in anyone. Desperate for relief, the exploited fall easily prey to a ‘kind hand extended’, only to find themselves exploited anew. Their average lifespan is seven years, and death comes in a plethora of ways. Our nonprofit works to ensure no one falls prey to the exploitation from the onset, prevention before the harm occurs as the best way to eliminate this modern-day slavery called human trafficking.

Goals

1. 1.We wish to engage new Board members and an intern, currently on volunteer basis for both with a foreseeable shift to non-volunteer with secured funding for our intern and our Executive Director.
2. 2.We tap into new sectors of the community via virtual and actual doors, building upon the most recent materials for same-type organizations or age-groups, ensuring up-to-date information is delivered.
3. 3.Our primary focus is sex trafficking prevention as the prominent interest in the USA. We also respond to new angles of international sex, labor, and organ trafficking tapping into our knowledge base.
