Vision

Beaches Go Green's vision is that through education and awareness, we will reduce plastic pollution in our community and in the world. We also believe that we are enabling people to make healthier decisions in regards to the chemicals in plastic surrounding our food, drink, clothing and more. We seek to create change through education and awareness.

Goals

1. 1.We plan to expand educational programs in our current footprint of Duval and St. John's counties in Florida. There is a huge gap in environmental education in our area, particularly around plastic pollution. We are partnering with other like-minded organizations, local cities and schools to increase our reach to people who may not have being eco-friendly or plastic pollution on their radar.
2. 2.Based on the availability of funding, we seek to increase our footprint served and offer a wider variety of programming based on the needs of the area. Examples would be more eco cinema showings with aged based content, more educational talks around a diverse range of environmental topics & more community service opportunities like cleanup events and dune planting with a focus on education.
3. 3.We are focusing on more educational events and less service-only events like cleanups. We are adding more community field trips to local resources to show our audience change in action. We are creating more visable displays for our events to show the impact of plastic pollution not just on our environment but also on our health.
