Vision

We aspire to bridge the opportunity gap for families in need in the Hamptons. We believe that all of our neighbors on the East End of Long Island deserve to have the resources that the more fortunate around us have. Each of our four programs focuses on alleviating poverty and helping those in need with the common issues that they face financially: Food Outreach, Crisis Care, Home Repair, and Child Centered Outreach. Whether it is restoring a family's electricity or making sure that local children in need have enough to eat, our goal is to help those who need it most.

Goals

1. 1.Hamptons Community Outreach has seen extraordinary growth since the organization began in 2018. We want to see this growth continue so that we can help more and more people in need. We want to increase access to our services by finding more communities that need assistance.
2. 2.Many people only think of the Hamptons as an area of extreme wealth and are blind to the fact that there are pockets of deeply impoverished people. In between the mansions there are people who can't afford to pay their rent or buy new sneakers for their children. Our goal is to bring light to this disparity and encourage more to get involved and help our neighbors in need.
3. 3.Another goal of ours is to start a Job Training Program. This aligns with our mission to change life trajectories for marginalized people. We work with a group of homeless clients who have seasonal jobs but are unable to find work in the winter and therefore can't afford rent. Enrolling them in a job training program would enable them to learn more concrete skills and find year-round employment.
