My Bag My Story

Mission

Most people don’t realize that children in foster care often travel with nothing more than a trash bag to hold their belongings. We’re here to change that – one bag, and one person at a time. My Bag My Story is on a mission to improve the lives of children in foster care, elevating their sense of dignity and self worth.

Vision

We envision a world where every child in foster care feels dignified and worthy.

Goals

1.Build My Bag My Story with a best practice blueprint that lays the foundation for a responsive sustainable organization that delivers and grows its mission to serve more children.
2.Create a development strategy that maximizes the power of the mission’s story to supplement sales, increase volunteer participation, grow donations, and special events to raise the brand awareness
3.Create relationships with local businesses, churches, foundations, agencies, etc. to increase our awareness and educate our community on foster care
