To expand our reach and impact, providing therapeutic benefits to a larger number of individuals across more communities, and to be recognized as a leader in equine therapy.

Goals

1. 1.Expand Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures’ existing equine-assisted therapy programs by increasing the frequency and reach of hospital, behavioral health, school, and senior care visits. This includes onboarding additional trained handlers and horses, strengthening hospital partnerships, and increasing access to therapeutic visits for underserved and high-need populations across Central Florida.
2. 2.Prioritize Honey’s core equine-assisted therapy programs in hospitals, behavioral health settings, and schools, where impact data is strongest. Streamline operations by scaling back non-core or low-impact activities, allowing staff, volunteers, and resources to be concentrated on evidence-based therapeutic visits that align most closely with the organization’s mission.
3. 3.Strengthen organizational capacity by investing in sustainable funding strategies, financial management systems, and staff and volunteer development. This includes improving data tracking and reporting, formalizing operational procedures, and building infrastructure that supports long-term program growth, accountability, and high-quality service delivery.
