Mission

OUR MISSION IS TO SAVE LIVES, LINK RESOURCES, AND ENCOURAGE DIGNITY THROUGH LOW-BARRIER ACCESS TO A WARM SAFE PLACE FOR THOSE IN NEED.

Our vision for the Flathead Warming Center is to provide a warm, safe, low barrier facility.

1.Our Roadmap Initiative has guests meet weekly with FWC’s licensed addictions counselor to determine current obstacles and develop individualized plans towards self-sufficiency.
2.Our LINK program provides 15 integrated services from partner organizations onsite at the center to programs that help meet their specific, immediate needs, such as Medicaid and addiction services.
3.To reduce homelessness, guests need access to resources that further independence. With expansion, we'd add a commercial kitchen, meeting spaces, additional showers, toilets, washers and dryers.
