Free Yezidi Foundation

Mission

FREE YEZIDI FOUNDATION (FYF) USA WORKS TO PROVIDE HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT TO YEZIDI SURVIVORS IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE GENOCIDE PERPETRATED AGAINST THE YEZIDI PEOPLE IN 2014. FYF SUPPORTS JUSTICE AND ACCOUNTABILITY EFFORTS ON BEHALF OF YEZIDI SURVIVORS, AND ADVOCATES FOR YEZIDI WOMEN'S RIGHTS, FREEDOM, AND OPPORTUNITY.

Vision

A future where Yezidis live in freedom, dignity, equality, and security; where survivors of genocide can heal and rebuild their lives; where Yezidi women and girls are empowered to lead; and where the Yezidi community can thrive, determine its own future, and live with justice and equal rights.

Goals

1.FYF aims to expand its programs by reaching more Yezidi survivors with trauma care, education, and women’s empowerment services. We seek to grow community centers, increase training opportunities, and broaden access to protection and recovery resources, with the goal of expanding our programs to Sinjar as well.
2.FYF aims to strengthen advocacy efforts around the world to advance justice and accountability, genocide recognition and recovery for the Yezidi community.
3.Needs of the Yezidi community change daily, FYF is committed to making sure we keep listening to our people and their needs.
