Foreign correspondents in the US who work for global media should have access to the skills and tools needed to advance their careers, as their work is the cornerstone of democracies in our global societies.

Goals

1. 1.Educational programs, such as workshops, interviews, and seminars, provide foreign journalists with the knowledge and skills to enhance reporting, gain insights relevant to their work, and deliver accurate, fair, and competent information. The Foreign Press Awards highlight their vital role, while the Press Freedom Forum promotes collaboration to ensure journalists safety and protection.
2. 2.The resources created, developed, and published by the Foreign Press Correspondents' online platforms are intended to enhance, strenghten, and advance the role of foreign journalists and correspondents by providing them with tools and training to enhance their work and pursue their reporting effectively.
3. 3.Scholarships for foreign correspondents who demonstrated career background as foreign journalists in their respective countries and who are pursuing Master's studies in the United States at any U.S.-based academic institution. Prizes for professional excellence to encourage excellence in journalism in foreign correspondents.
