Mission
The Niles Foundation's impactful programs and projects are transforming low-income and disadvantaged communities in Los Angeles. Through The Halo Food Project, over 26,000 pounds of locally grown produce are distributed annually, empowering families with fresh and nutritious food. The Yard 2 Farm initiative equips residents with urban farming skills, engaging over 5,000 community members yearly to lead sustainable lives. Evclean15 educates on clean transportation, reducing air pollution, and increasing community mobility. SOMAH's Community Outreach bridges the gap to renewable energy, empowering residents with clean and affordable solutions. These programs collectively address food insecurity, promote sustainable agriculture, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance access to renewable energy, fostering a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
