Mission

Junior Achievement (JA) is the world's largest organization dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, Junior Achievement provides in-school and after-school programs for students which focus on three key content areas: entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. The goal is to teach concepts through experiential learning, allowing young people to put their new knowledge and skills into practice.

1.JA’s goal is to serve 19,000 high school students during the 22/23 school year with a focus on increasing Instructional Contact Hours (ICH)—a measure of the time students are involved in a program.
2.JA is currently building a new educational facility, the JA Free Enterprise Center, and developing an all-new immersive career exploration lab that will be housed there.
3.JA’s Volunteer Engagement team continues to work to increase our volunteer diversity to better match the demographic of the students we serve. Also, working to develop new recruitment strategies.
