Community Ministry of Southwest Denver

Mission

The mission of Community Ministry is to meet the basic needs of individuals experiencing economic hardship and related problems by offering a self-choice food pantry, children's clothing, utility assistance and collaborating with other non-profits to provide wrap around services.

Vision

Community Ministry has been serving the Denver area for over 55 years. We have opened our boundaries to assist more families and individuals in need. We won't turn anyone away who is hungry or in need.

Goals

1.We hope to provide enough nutritional food for a family of 5 for five days and clothes, jackets, and other necessities to assist with their everyday needs.
2.We constantly evaluate our client's needs and how we can impact their hardships. We are implementing a "resource navigator" to provide resources for all situations and needs.
3.We need to increase the technical availability for quicker and more efficient check-in for new clients. A computer so they can input information or fill out application would make the process quicker.
