    Denver Kids, Inc.

    Mission

    Denver Kids, Inc. exists to support Denver Public Schools (DPS) students, grades 3-12, empowering them to positively shape their lives, successfully complete high school, and pursue postsecondary options. Denver Kids Educational SEL (social/emotional learning) Counselors (ESCs) are the core of our program. Averaging caseloads of 50 students, ESCs provide the one-on-one support and advocacy necessary to empower our Denver Kids students to succeed academically, personally, and socially. Stationed at our main office at 780 Grant Street and at school based offices throughout DPS, ESCs interact with school personnel, families, volunteer mentors, and various community members and agencies to provide support for their students to help them reach their full potential.
