Vision

Global Dental Relief's vision is to provide ongoing continuous preventive and restorative dental care to children around the world. We accomplish this by committing to see the same children in our clinics every 1.5 years to provide ongoing dental care. Between clinic visits GDR goes into the classroom every six months to provide a fluoride varnish treatment, oral health education and a new toothbrush, ensuring children in our care receive ongoing education and prevention services between clinic visits.

Goals

1. 1.GDR initiated an oral health education and prevention program that reaches 18,000 children in Guatemala and Nepal and is expanding this program to include Cambodia in 2024.
2. 2.Expand field clinics in rural areas in to reach children in remote regions in Nepal and Mexico. In 2024 GDR will reach an additional 3,000 children with first time dental care in rural areas.
3. 3.GDR is expanding restorative and preventive materials used in clinics which takes into account the development of new materials that are appropriate for field conditions to arrest tooth decay.
