Mission

AMAR mobilizes support to rebuild lives for some of the world’s most disadvantaged people affected by war, conflict, and displacement by providing health, education, vocational training, and humanitarian assistance. AMAR empowers individuals and communities to recover and build sustainable futures.

Vision

AMAR envisions a world where all displaced and conflict-affected people have access to the healthcare, education, and resources they need to rebuild their lives, restore their dignity, and contribute to resilient, thriving communities.

Goals

1.AMAR aims to grow, expand, and scale its core programs, including medical and mental health services, vocational training, and education. By increasing access to healthcare, education, and humanitarian assistance, AMAR empowers refugees and IDPs to rebuild their lives and strengthen their communities.
2.AMAR focuses on core programs essential to its mission, ensuring no mission drift through careful monitoring and evaluation. Prioritizing impactful programs such as medical care, mental health, and education, AMAR scales back on non-core services, maximizing the effectiveness of its resources.
3.AMAR invests in the capacity of its local teams in Kurdistan, Iraq, and Romania, as well as its infrastructure. By developing resources, staff training, and innovative tools, AMAR ensures its programs are sustainable, productive, and capable of making a lasting impact for the communities it serves.
