Board development publications have been purchased to develop board member training, Trips are planned to attend the state conference of a similar organization in Texas to coordinate with leaders of that organization which has been operating longer than ours (next year expenditures). New Board chairman brought on board in 2021 and he is implementing improvements in operations.

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
When the COVID pandemic dried up participation from some of the local church congregations due to fear of spreading the disease, we scaled back our build schedule and found groups of folks with less concern about the virus and willingness to get out to people's homes to build ramps. New training programs were built and board structure was evolved to manage activities across the entire state. Board leadership traveled to teams outside the Albuquerque area (Corp headquarters) to assist with tools and team member shortfalls, offering ideas for new connections in the local areas and committing to bring teams from other parts of the state when able.
