HUMANCULTURE
Mission
Humanculture is an Indigenous-led nonprofit organization operating internationally, incorporated in the United States as a 501(c)(3) public charity and in Canada under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. Our work focuses on expanding access to water, food, education, health services, economic autonomy, cultural preservation, and representation. Humanculture advances Indigenous and community-led work across essential access, knowledge systems, ecology, land stewardship, arts, culture, humanitarian aid, and climate resilience. We are dedicated to the life, land, and culture of African and Indigenous peoples in remote societies. We support communities that are often excluded from global visibility and resource access. Humanculture operates in multiple regions across the Global South.
Vision
Our vision is a global landscape celebrating the vibrant life and unique traditions of African and Indigenous people, transcending history and colonial legacies. We strive for inclusive representation, magnifying diverse narratives on a global stage. Committed to humanity we envisionin a world where decolonial initiatives increase access to fundamental human rights. Through advocacy, education, and expanded access, we dismantle barriers, creating pathways for marginalized communities to thrive. In arts and culture, our vision is to protect and proliferate African and Indigenous creative expressions. Guided by local wisdom, our endeavors enhance access to human rights in the Global South and foster authentic representation in the arts. At our core is the harmonious coexistence of HUMAN RIGHTS and the CELEBRATION OF CULTURE. We foresee a future where these principles intertwine, acknowledging and celebrating every individual's rights, cherishing diverse cultures for generations.
