Mission

HBCU First is a student-led community advancing the wellbeing and economic participation of America's youth. As the leading HBCU internship and mentoring academy, we deliver college-to-career skills through live, industry-backed training and our national peer-to-pro network. Each year, we help hundreds of students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) become day-one-ready professionals.

Vision

We aim to empower a stronger, more inclusive workforce by bringing together one of our most underrepresented communities (Black youth) and our most resourced community (best-in-class companies).

Goals

1.Provide students additional support and professional experience that prepares them to add value on day one of their job or internship.
2.Develop an elite channel of diverse talent with in-demand skills and exposure to a variety of career pathways.
