Safe Sensory Room provides "An Autism Haven at Home" by renovating the bedrooms of children with severe autism to be a room safe from harm and outfitted with sensory equipment, at no cost to the child's family. This is an intervention to enhance the home life of children with autism that has never been available before. There are therapy gyms that have safe, sensory spaces where a child can be brought to play, but no option for parents to bring that safe space home. The result is devastating- parents are helplessly watching their children harm themselves and others at home. Sleepless nights turn into unproductive, stressful days with no peace of mind in sight. Until now. These rooms are life-changing and we will not stop until every child that needs a Safe Sensory Room, gets one.

Safe Sensory Room Foundation cannot be rated because Charity Navigator has not received the public data required to create a star rating.
To receive a star rating, a charity must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. Private foundations, consolidated subsidiaries, and organizations with revoked or inactive IRS status are not eligible for a rating.
Eligible charities must also meet the following criteria:
A nonprofit may be listed but not rated if it does not yet meet Form 990 filing requirements, is newly registered, files only Form 990-EZ or 990-N, or is otherwise ineligible for a star rating.
