Vision

Our vision is a day when every adult with IDD has accessible, meaningful opportunities for education, employment skill development, social activities, and can live independently in the home of their choice.

Goals

1. 1.Expand Journey21’s pathway-based programming through increased Launch Academy enrollment, curriculum support for the Marquette program, and publication of a clear pathway flowchart to guide participant progression. Success will be measured by growth in students entering each pathway and development of a long-term business plan for the Enrichment Center and post-graduation pathways.
2. 2.Strengthen the Internship and Job Coach Program through quarterly trainings, implementation of an evidence-based OT curriculum, and expansion of internship partnerships. Goals include 10 new placement sites, standardized evaluation tools, business partner satisfaction surveys, and ongoing intern highlights to support quality workforce experiences and community partnerships.
3. 3.Develop a sustainable long-term business plan for the Enrichment Center through 3–5 year financial and operational projections, annual strategic agenda planning, and Steering Council engagement. Focus areas include increasing community visibility, strengthening stakeholder involvement, and establishing annual strategic meetings to support future growth and organizational sustainability.
