Vision

We envision a world where valuing the economic, social, and cultural contributions of mothers is the norm and equity for mothers is guaranteed by design, not granted by exception.

Goals

1. 1.LA 2028 presents a unique opportunity to celebrate the athletic accomplishments of mothers while raising awareness of the barriers they face and building support for FAM+’s mission. To take advantage of this opportunity, FAM+ plans to facilitate the implementation of maternal support services for all Olympics and Paralympic athletes.
2. 2.FAM+ seeks to change the way sports teams, governing bodies, leagues, brands, and the general public think about mothers in sports. We do this with the goal of exposing the barriers that mothers in sports face, helping partners to understand the benefits they will accrue by supporting mothers in sports, identifying solutions, and fostering motivation to implement changes.
3. 3.Grow FAM+’s organizational capacity through partnerships, fundraising, sustainable hiring, and board development. With talented and committed new staff and board members now in place, we seek to grow our organizational capacity to match our ambitious goals for impact.
