Rather than the overt sexual and commercialized Pride the Large Corporations have turned it into. DJedi Tenets 1. Bodily autonomy: The right to bodily autonomy is subject to your will and your will alone, no foreign body or entity has the right to invade or subvert your will, mind , spirit, or bodily integrity or self governance. 2. Separation of church and state: The sacred relationship between humanity and their human journey in existence and pursuit of balance with the Source of Life shall not be infringed upon by any state or entity. 3. Balance the force: The innate worth and dignity of every individual is self-evident in nature and the cosmos. There is a balance of all things and part of that balance is the diversity of all things and a spectrum of all things that exist. Respect nature and the Source and its balance; likewise respect the inherent human nature of others. 4. Do no harm: All beings must act with compassion and empathy towards all living things as the balance of our existence is predicated upon our relationship with our communities, environment, cultures, and ecosystems. 5. The Force: All things that exist are sacred manifestations of The Force, also known as the “Source of Life”. The DJedi continue to obtain knowledge of The Force and through DJedi practices, conservation, respect of all life, and use of plants, strive to attain and maintain balance with The Force. 6. Self determination: Self determination is how the Source keeps order in chaos. The inherent right to affirming medical care medical decisions shall be at the discretion of the individual and their healthcare providers alone and shall not be infringed upon; this includes all gender affirming care as well as all medical reproductive care. 7. By serving others you serve the higher self which is community. Community is what allows the DJedi to thrive in the Force. The DJedi strive to not only be an active part of their community, but to enrich it further through connection. Community events such as Pride are protected religious events for DJedi to reach out and support their community. 8.The individual pursuit of truth: Truth is an incarnation of The Force, order, and the balance of all living things. Truth keeps the balance of the Force. As our knowledge expands, and so do new discoveries, so will the DJedi Order expand as the pursuit of knowledge and truth is sacred to the DJedi. This is not a dogmatic religion. No member of the DJedi Order will force their belief or their dogma onto anyone in the DJedi order or outside of the Order. The DJedi believe in the inherent right to discover and accept your true self and take the steps necessary to be present as your true self to the world. 9.Cause and effect: Be good to others, and good will come back to you. 10. All LGBTQIA + are members of the Djedi Order from birth as they are born LGBTQIA+. All Cisgendered and/or Heterosexual (straight) people wanting to join the Order can become members by formally denouncing the patriarchy, work to deconstruct internalized heteronormativity and accept themselves as Straight, Cisgendered members on a spectrum of the divine. What is The DJedi Order Doing to Protect 2SLGBTQIA+ People? 1. We Contacted the City Council in Franklin, Tennessee and convinced the board to allow the Franklin Pride event to continue as it is a religious festival. 2. We joined as a plaintiff against Texas state and Marcus A. Silva in case 23-CV-0375 (Marcus A. Silva, v. Jackie Noyola; Amy Carpenter, formerly known as Amy Symmank; and Aracely Garcia) to aid the women in defense. (More information here: https://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/marcus-silva-sb-8-lawsuit.pdf) 3. We Joined as a plaintiff in the lawsuit CASE D-1-GN-23- 000968 (AMANDA ZURAWSKI; Et al V STATE OF TEXAS; ATTORNEY GENERAL OF TEXAS; KEN PAXTON Et al.) to add strength to their case as a religious organization. (More information here: https://reproductiverights.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Zurawski-v-State-of-Texas-Complaint.pdf) 4. We filed a class action lawsuit over all the Anti-2SLGBTQIA+ and Anti-Trans laws; Djedi Order v. State of Florida et al 3:2023cv00194 . We will need a constitutional Attorney to proceed with this case. (More information here: https://dockets.justia.com/docket/wisconsin/wiwdc/3:2023cv00194/50657) 5. We are currently networking across the United States to aid Transgender and Non-binary people relocate to safe areas. We are working to link up with other organizations currently working in the fight and aid of all 2SLGBTQIA+ across the nation. About Us The DJedi Order is a spiritual movement that seeks to help bridge the growing divide between religion and science. The 2SLGBTQIA+ community is not only backed up by science, but represented by many gods throughout time. We believe in the defense of human nature, the laws of nature, human liberty, the separation of church and state, bodily autonomy, self governance, and collective values predicated on the idea of building community and mutual aid among humanity through our service to the community. We seek to restore a balance to the Source of Life (The Force) that has been lost through a direct attack against it by malicious people through the use of political advantage and lies who seek to remove the people's bodily autonomy and self governance. We believe in regaining that balance by advancing the empirical fact that all humans deserve a life of dignity and respect no matter their race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexuality, disability. The Jedi Order believes in a society predicated upon equity and justice that ensures food, water, shelter, healthcare, bodily autonomy and education as fundamental, natural, human rights that are divinely given to all through the laws of nature and the Source of Life. Our Stance on Abortion Abortions, as performed in the The Ebers Papyrus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ebers_Papyrus) in ancient Egypt set a precipice in our religion as an enshrined fact of bodily autonomy. Our members practice this as part of their sacred rites as women, tying them to the Source of Life, the right to choose, to allow life to be given or life to be denied by abortion. Many of the gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt were associated with this truth. It is our belief that the fetus is not alive until it breathes the “Breath of Life” and until then it is an extension of the female host the Source of Life has chosen to gift with the opportunity. However, as said before, the choice belongs to the person carrying the fetus. It is a sacred duty of those that are given the choice to allow a new emanation of the Source of Life to enter our world. Like all laws of nature and universal laws, even the Source of Life must defer to bodily autonomy and self governance on the individual. To force any human being to give birth against their will is in direct violation of our tenets and beliefs.
