Mission

TNR North Platte, established in 2016, is dedicated to reducing the population of homeless community cats in North Platte, Nebraska, through humane spay and neuter efforts. Our mission extends beyond sterilization—we ensure the ongoing well-being of these cats by providing essential medical care, including vaccinations, parasite treatments, and urgent health services. For colonies without designated caretakers, we step in to provide daily food, clean water, and continued veterinary support. In addition to hands-on care, we work to educate the public about the importance of TNR and the humane treatment of community cats. We socialize feral kittens and evaluate friendly strays trapped during the TNR process, preparing them for loving foster and permanent homes.
