Egypt Relief and Aid
Mission
We believe we can end extreme poverty in Egypt within our lifetime. Our Mission Established in 2020, Egypt Relief & Aid (ERA) is focused on bringing attention to the development of Egypt through enhancing the socioeconomic, artistic, health, and educational landscapes in urban and rural communities across the country’s regions. We seek to support and strengthen existing initiatives and partner with trustworthy organizations on the ground to have the broadest impact in many issue areas. ERA’s mission is to protect the most vulnerable Egyptians, elevate their most pressing concerns, improve their well-being, and promote more cohesive and developed communities through our various initiatives and advocacy programs.
Vision
Aligned Team “One Destination” Aspiration 2027 In 2027, ERA has improved the quality of life of individuals in Egypt, having raised USD 500,000 in funds put towards relief, aid, and grassroots development projects. This achievement is attributed to ERA's expansion efforts, including the increase in its donor base, the number and quality of campaigns, securing significant grants, and establishing key partnerships in the USA and Egypt. Internally, ERA has also experienced growth, with a strengthened team and the establishment of clear, efficient, and effective internal structures that support its initiatives.
Goals
- 1.Strengthening internal infrastructure, process, and people Why: To build capacity. This will determine how and when we do things. It allows us to leverage data for targeted results and helps us achieve our other strategic priorities. Additionally, capacity building serves as the foundation for compliance, ensuring that our actions adhere to established standards and regulations.
- 2.Donor engagement & stewardship Why: To enhance our outreach efforts, cultivate relationships with existing and potential donors, and effectively communicate the impact of our initiatives. Donor engagement will expand our fundraising capabilities and secure the resources needed to support our mission effectively.
- 3.Strategic partnerships Why : To enhance the quality and impact of our projects. To cultivate the right relationships and have more meaningful projects. Build and increase trust for our donors. Diversify our capability. To position us to serve the people we set out to serve.
