Goals

1. 1.Gii has grown greatly since it's inception in 2020. This growth has come with an increase of refugees and vulnerable populations in the Austin area and we continue to expand our programs to meet the growing needs of this community. However, waitlist for programs continue to grow and scaling up is a continual and growing need for the organization.
2. 2.Gii is honored to receive and implement funds from a federal grant, however the funding and programs are highly limited in their eligibility criteria and capacity. Gii is constantly speaking with our beneficiaries and their needs and barriers to self sufficiency. Developing new programs to better serve our community is a challenge but an organizational priority.
3. 3.Scaling from a volunteer run non-profit to a larger scale implementor of federal funding is mired by technical, organizational, and logistical challenges. While capabilities in this regard have greatly improved, initiatives to further expand organizational capacity are constant.
