Mission

The Lillian’s List Foundation advances women’s political leadership through education, training, and civic engagement by preparing women to lead and educating North Carolinians about the issues that affect their lives, families, and communities. The Foundation provides aspiring leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue public service while equipping North Carolinians with accessible, nonpartisan educational resources on the issues shaping their communities. Recent initiatives include the launch of the Candidate Classroom, a comprehensive training series for women seeking elected office, and an expanded slate of issue-based educational programs designed to engage the general public on topics including voting rights, reproductive freedom, and civic participation.
