Mission
Thin Blue 1sts central mission is to provide emotional and spiritual support to law enforcement officials and their families as they go through the rigors of everyday life. Thin Blue 1st held 24 Chapel services for police officers during 2024. These usually occurred on the first and third Sundays of every month. There were two Officer Appreciation banquets in 2024 that included LEOs and a guest. Thin Blues Executive Director participates in frequent "Ride alongs" with on duty officers. These offer a chance to see what the officers are experiencing and to develop a bond with officers. These ride alongs usually include a meal at a local restaurant. The Thin Blue 1st Marriage ministry is a effort to address and lower the very high rate of divorce among LEOs. A small group meets regularly while a "Marriage Retreat" is held annually. Other activities include weddings funerals and individual counseling.

Thin Blue 1st Inc. cannot be rated because Charity Navigator has not received the public data required to create a star rating.
To receive a star rating, a charity must be a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity. Private foundations, consolidated subsidiaries, and organizations with revoked or inactive IRS status are not eligible for a rating.
