Mission

Caleb mission is to holistically transform the lives of North Korean defectors by rescuing them from danger, guiding them to safety and freedom, and offering comprehensive physical, emotional, and spiritual care. Through the love of Christ, we aim to provide a renewed path for defectors and prepare them to be leaders and advocates for a unified Korea and global human rights.

Vision

Caleb Mission envisions a world where every North Korean escapee experiences true freedom through Jesus Christ, living transformed lives of hope, healing, and purpose. We aspire to see North Korea liberated from oppression, unified with South Korea, and thriving with a community of believers spreading the gospel and God’s grace worldwide.

Goals

1.Caleb Mission prioritizes the safety of North Korean escapees and missionaries, guiding them through dangerous journeys across China, jungles, and the Mekong River. Led by Pastor Seungeun Kim, the team ensures their safety while sharing God's presence and grace through constant prayers, offering hope and faith during life-threatening escapes.
2.Caleb Mission provides safe houses for North Korean escapees after their 7,500-mile journey to freedom. For three months, they receive rest, nutrition, care, and spiritual support through Bible study and a healing environment. Many find transformation, accepting Jesus, getting baptized, and beginning new lives rooted in faith, hope, and freedom.
3.Caleb Mission raises global awareness of North Korea's human rights violations through media, including 10+ documentaries like the acclaimed "Beyond Utopia." Since 2013, it has shared footage with outlets like the BBC. Pastor Seungeun Kim advocates at forums like the Oslo Freedom Forum, seeking united action to bring justice and freedom to North Koreans and their families.
